Frequently Asked Questions

Can I keep my order and plant the bulbs at a later time?

Spring-flowering bulbs such as tulips and daffodils need to be planted in the autumn or early winter. They have a long cold period necessary, in order to bloom. It is important to plant them in the autumn, before the frost. They need this time to develop strong roots.

Can I plant flower bulbs in a pot?

You can certainly plant flower bulbs in pots. By doing this, you can then easily move the flower bulbs around. Alternatively, you can dig a flowerpot in your garden and in the spring take it out and move it to another place. Make sure that water can run through flowerpot.

Can I plant flower bulbs in my climate zone?

I want to order flower bulbs but to a different address in another country. Can I?

Yes, this is possible. When you go to your shopping cart, during checkout you are requested to provide a billing address (the address of the purchaser) and then the address where the order is to be delivered. You can also click on another country.  Shipping costs are automatically updated.

What should I do first when I receive my order?

For the quality of the bulbs, it is important that you plant your flower bulbs as soon as possible. If you do not know exactly where you want to plant the bulbs, plant them in a pot. This allows you to be able to move the bulbs around at a later stage.

What spacing should I keep?

The distance between each plant depends on the size of the bulb.

Allium: 3-5 cm
Anemones: 3-5 cm
Crocus: 5 cm
Hyacinths: 10 cm
Muscari: 3-5 cm
